2% manual? 😂 Here in the US, It's over 40% manual. There are many places, they didn't offer the manual, so that seems pretty incorrect. 👍

Would've liked to have seen integrated solar panels in the roof & an induction hob. It's OK as a weekend van but I wouldn't want to spend much longer than that in it. Would definitely go for the hybrid.

Never owned one, but have hired one on several occasions on visiting family in Spain, I would own one with out exception, but i have my favourite car and when i become sick of it i know which one i will look at

Dear Volkswagen, NO ONE wants capacitive buttons. Anywhere. I don't want them on a steering wheel. I don't want a capacitive finger slider for my ac. There is nothing wrong with buttons and knobs. Quit trying to set interiors up like a Tesla. If I wanted a Tesla, I'd buy a Tesla.

WTF is a Golf or?

I feel like VW could've given this car a bigger power bump, considering the new Clubsport is packing 296bhp. I have a stock 7.5 R just to give a little perspective. I know the R has other bits that set it apart from its little brother but meh. I am getting the vibe that the Mk8.5 is it for the petrol Golf GTI/R. I really hope VW does not go full EV on the Mk9 Golf GTI/R models. Hybrid I am open to and can tolerate. But definitely not full EV. 🤢🤮

Awful looking mustang and it gets worse inside. It looks like if ur gran bought a cheap toy car from Poundland instead of a hot wheels as in it kinda looks like a mustang but not. Interior is wrong Mustangs should nod to the past and to the future but in this car it’s not doing it for me But just my opinion Cool video tho bud👍

How is that pre-production reviews are all done with small UA-camrs? I suspect to see the reaction and they are not going to scream about the obvious things, like no real improvement in infotainment, the shitty haptic buttons, the humongous screen etc. 7 to 7.5 changed DSG, added virtual cluster, and power, not talking about not screwing-up the excellent interior. 7.5 to 8, added rear deferential, more power and torque, removed spare wheel, removed nice interior, put more cheap plastics everywhere, unreasonable increase in price. 8 to 8.5 added nothing technically as I can see, kept the bad things like haptics, and added humongous screen (not a good thing either in my book), all of that while increasing the prices both for 8 and I assume even more for 8.5. 😅 I was waiting for 8.5, I’m not thrilled.

And again whats the difference? Oh just a 15hp bump, no buttons, no stick and Tesla screen. 🤦‍♂️ So if you wanna actually see your HVAC sliders in the dark in a 50k$ car you need to trade up for the 8.5 lol seems to be more of a fumble update for the golf R. And NO SHIT only 2% bought a manual. There was no manual sold in the EU market and as for the US market well they are still making their way here just now with minimal allocations at the dealership and the 8 was a bit of a let down. The only reason they don’t sell the manual is cost cutting.

2004 vw up with 18 kwh battery . 105.000 km driven still mixing with d and b mode can manage around 130- 140 km . Record was 8kwh/100km summer Norway roads . In average its 10-12 kWh summer and 16-18 winter.

Is anyone having issues with the rear brakes???? My 2022 BMW x3 rear brakes since I got the SUV hasn't stopped squealing since I got it. BMW pretty much makes excuses for it and won't fix it. Hopefully the new SUV doesn't have that problem
